Update
HESSEQUA NEWS - On 24 November, ongoing efforts are made to keep the wildfire west of the R305. Embers are, however, being generated excessively from the wildfire intensity west of the R305.
The western line, close to wooden structures, is being monitored and suppressed.
The southern and northern lines are inaccessible at this stage but not spreading rapidly.
The hope is that windy conditions stay moderately south-west to help us contain the wildfire in one particular block next to the R305. If this happens it will burn itself out against the R305.
The western lines, on the north-west and the corner of the south-west, as well as south, must however be mopped up early tomorrow morning, 25 November. Aerial resources are currently on standby.
