CRICKET NEWS - Pacaltsdorp United has recorded their sixth consecutive victory and remain unbeaten as they increased their lead in the Six Gun Grill SWD Premier League competition.
The team (89/4) reached the winning target in the 22nd over for a six-wicket bonus point victory against Union Stars (88 all out) at the Bridgton Sport Grounds in Oudtshoorn on Saturday.
Ricardo Majola (4/23) and Odin le Roux (4/8) both bagged four wickets each for Pacaltsdorp.
George (157/4) defeated Harlequins (156 all out) by six wickets for an important away victory at the Military Sport Club.
Rain had the final say in the matches between Plett Pioneers and Knysna Cavaliers and Mossel Bay versus Sussex. They were both abandoned due to rain.
