CRICKET NEWS - The Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers Women's team is ready for this weekend's fixtures against DP World Lions at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn - a Cricket South Africa One-Day Cup match (Saturday, 11 November) and a T20 Challenge match (Sunday, 12 November).
The Badgers, fresh from back-to-back victories against the Titans in Pretoria two weekends ago, will be keen to keep the momentum going.
Unfortunately, the Badgers will be without Micaela Andrews, their versatile stalwart, who is recovering from an injury.
The experienced Mochelle May, who missed most of last season due to a shoulder injury, will make a welcome return to the team.
The squad of 13 is: Mochelle May, Tazmin Brits, Annerie Dercksen, Asakhe Nyovane, Mieke de Ridder, Haroline Rhodes, Julia Hoal, Tabitha la Grange, Julandi Saayman, Jané Winster (captain), Khayakazi Mathe, Chantelle van Schoor and Koketso Manyaga.
