NATIONAL NEWS – A student from Nelson Mandela University’s (NMU) George campus who had been hospitalised following a drowning incident at Victoria Bay on Friday 31 October, has died.
Her fellow student drowned at the scene.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies, emergency services were called to Victoria Bay on Friday afternoon after two women disappeared underwater.
