NATIONAL NEWS- Transport and Community Safety MEC Xolile Nqatha has expressed deep sadness and sorrow over the horrific accident that claimed 14 lives when a SUV and a minibus taxi collided head-on on the N9 between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg early Monday morning.
The cause of the crash is still unknown and under investigation.
On behalf of the provincial government, Nqatha expressed his sincere condolences to the grieving families and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured passengers. MEC Nqatha continues to urge motorists to drive cautiously and adhere to the rules of the road.
