NATIONAL NEWS - Seventeen people are feared dead in Zimbabwe after their South Africa-bound bus crashed into a truck and burst into flames.

At least 43 people have been injured, some of them critically following the crash on Wednesday evening.

Police spokeswoman Charity Charamba has told state radio that charred bodies could be seen inside the wreckage of the bus this morning.

The Proliner Bus was carrying around 60 passengers to South Africa.

It collided head-on with a haulage truck last night, around 200km south of Harare.
