GOURITSMOND NEWS - This coming Monday, 13 September, Eskom will split the Albertinia Farmers 1-11kV feeder into Farmers 1 and Farmers 3. Additionally, they will also shift load from Farmers 1 to Farmers 2.
According to Hessequa Municipality’s acting Manager: Electrical & Mechanical Services, Silent Chikamhi, the work that will be carried out by Eskom should result in improvement of supply, especially to Gouritsmond as the separation of circuits, Farmers 1 and Farmers 2, will lead to quicker fault finding, restoration times and fault localisation.

Albertinia town will not be affected by this interruption of the electricity supply as the town is supplied directly from the substation on its own breaker.
