WITSAND NEWS - Microplastics causes major harm to the marine environment, especially our marine life.
Join the Lower Breede River Conservancy Trust for an educational talk on this important topic.
Since so many people are not aware of the long-term effects of their actions, it is very important to become more informed and bring about that positive change that the environment can benefit of.
The talk will be done by Dr Holly Nel, who is a researcher and Project Manager at the African Marine Waste Network and former NRF post doc at Rhodes University, with a special focus on the marine environment.
The LBRCT invites all interested parties for a snack night at Anchorage Restaurant and Bar on Thursday 5 October at 19:00.
For more information contact Marzanne Carelse, Environmental Education Officer on 028 537 1296 or 086 654 4999.
