BOXING NEWS - Local professional boxer, Bulelani Nozinja Ngondeka, of the Garden Route Boxing Academy in Mossel Bay, beat Mbulelo Gwabeni of Gqeberha by knockout in round three of their bout in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
The fight was organised by Nelson Mandela Promoters in conjunction with Nelson Mandela Municipality and took place on 4 October at the Nongoza Jebe Community Hall.
The fight was supposed to be four rounds long.
Ngondeka has a record of four fights as a professional boxer, with three won and one lost.
His next fight will be in East London on 30 October at the Orient Theatre venue. He will be fighting under Two Promotions.
The fight will be televised on M-Net SuperSport.
Mossel Bay boxing supporters went in numbers to Gqeberha to support Ngondeka. He thanked Manne Luther from Germany who sponsored his boxing boots and boxing shorts.
