GOLF NEWS - A field of 71 players attended the Southern Cape Nomads' monthly game on Sunday 10 September at Kingswood Golf Club.
The course, as expected, was in outstanding condition, living up to its reputation as being a tough but fair challenge to all the amateur golfers who came to play.
As an amateur event, Southern Cape Nomads produced some outstanding scores for the day, and some not so outstanding scores, but everybody had a fun day.
Winners
- A division: BP Viljoen (guest) with 36 points
- B division: Andy Duncan with 45 points
- C division: Gerrie Swart with 37 points
Best playing fourball
The best playing fourball were Chrisleo Botha, Andy Duncan, David Everleigh and Ian Botha, while the Matchbox (worst player for the day) went to Tjoepie Pretorius with 21 points.
