SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - South Western Districts Cricket recently announced the various age group coaches appointed as part of the newly established provincial coaching framework positions.
The appointed candidates are Gurshwin Rabie, Academy, and u.19; Eduard Strydom, u.17 and u.15; Douglas Baartman, u.13 and u.11 and Shaun Pretorius, women and girls u.19.
They will be responsible for the development and implementation of an elite coaching program for their respective groupings.
In addition, they are also responsible for all aspects of the newly introduced player performance plan in the member pipeline structures.
This will be done in conjunction with the key role players at schools, clubs, hubs and regional performance centers by introducing systems aimed to improve on-field performance of the selected cricketers.
