The camps provide the opportunity for wheelchair tennis players who aspire to play professionally and simply improve their game at any level. Led by a top-class coaching team, the camps combined mobility patterns, doubles, serves and stroke coaching.
South African top ranked women’s player and world number 8 Kgothatso ‘KG’ Montjane attended the event in Mangaung and took to the court to show the future stars how it’s done. Montjane participated in the Mangaung and Francis Baard District Camp at Martie du Plessis School in Bloemfontein working alongside Siyabulela Nkachela.
Mangaung City saw Tswellang, Martie du Plessis Schools from the Mangaung District pit against the two Francis Baard District schools in Retlameleng and Elizabeth Conradie Schools for places in the upcoming National Camp to be staged in Johannesburg from September 29 to October 2.
