NATIONAL NEWS - Nelson Mandela University is offering virtual Open Day events to prospective applicants, parents and educators before online applications for the 2021 intake close later this year.
The Faculty of Science will be holding its Open Day webinar tonight, 20 July. Interested parties have to register at 18:00 in order for them to receive the link.
“A virtual event platform has been created to link applicants with faculties via an interactive webinar session over the next two weeks,” says Milisa Piko, spokesperson for the George Campus. The faculties’ webinars will give interested parties the opportunity to engage with NMU’s academic and support services.
“They are more than welcome to put through questions as well. They can still ask questions during the webinar,” says Piko.
They hope to reach as many people, especially students, as possible. A database of attendees will also be created for sending additional faculty-related information after the event.
Please adhere to the online meeting etiquette, in order to ensure that the session runs as efficiently as possible:
The webinar is recorded, and your participation indicates acknowledgement of this.
Please test technology before the webinar commences.
Questions related to studying in this faculty at Mandela University can be submitted either prior to or during the webinar.
Please note that your camera will be off, and your microphone muted upon entering.
Register for tonight’s event at 18:00 today.
