It’s not yet clear whether the separate shootings are related, and the motives are not yet known.
The CPF caretaker chairperson, Reginald Maart, says tensions are running high following the murders in Roosendal and Voorbrug.
Last night, a known drug lord was shot dead in La Provence Street, and just minutes later officers responded to another shooting close by.
Maart says at around 5am this morning, a third shooting was reported in Roosendal.
“At the moment, we as the CPF are very concerned by the murders from last night until this morning at 5am.”
