The car reaches 100km/h, from rest, in a mere 2,8 seconds. The production run of just three unique versions has been pre-sold at a price of about R30-million before tax. The Geneva show car will continue as a testing vehicle on the road and race track.
The Veneno’s 6,5-litre 12-cylinder power drives all four wheels via a 7-speed transmission. The running gear features pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units, similar to racecar designs.The complete chassis is produced as a carbon fibre monocoque and the rest is made from innovative Lamborghini-patented materials such as Forged Composite and CarbonSkin.
The three unique vehicles will be produced in the course of 2013 and handed over to their owners.
