HESSEQUA NEWS - Knysna United last weekend continued the perfect start to their 2022 season with a win over Riversdal Blues while Bitou Rugby Club notched up their first win of the season against Young Roses.
All four local rugby clubs were in action during the weekend, with two playing home games - Knysna United and Jaguars - while Sedgefield Eagle Stars travelled to Mossel Bay and Bitou travelled to George.
Prior to the weekend only Knysna United and Jaguars had registered wins in the opening stages of the season.
Jaguars came up against Heidelberg on Saturday 9 April. The third teams kicked matters off and the home side was overpowered 34-3.
