STILBAAI NEWSFLASH - Salga Western Cape (South African Local Government Association) is hosting the 2018 Provincial Members’ Assembly (PMA) from 20 to 22 August in the Community Hall in Stilbaai.
The PMA is a consititutional meeting of all municipalities which is convened in between Provincial Conferences and this year, Stilbaai was chosen for this three-day meeting.
The PMA will be addressed by the MEC for Economic Opportunities that will highlight some of the economic challenges and the role municipalities should play to stimulate local economies.

The other key topics that will be discussed is the problem of land invasions and what need to be done to tackle this problem as well as the impact of climate change and ensure water resilience in the long term.
