GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A partial solar eclipse will be visible in the Garden Route tomorrow morning, Saturday 4 December, weather permitting.
Its duration will be one hour and eight minutes.
It is to start at 07:47 and should be visible until 08:55. It will reach its maximum at 08:21.
The public is warned to NEVER LOOK AT THE SUN DIRECTLY. You can seriously hurt your eyes and even go blind. One of the easiest ways to safely watch a solar eclipse is to make your own simple pinhole projector using two sheets of cardboard. See how to make it at https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/make-pinhole-projector.html.
