Update
RIVERSDALE NEWS - Two cats that went missing in the beginning of December have still not been found.
Monty and Fado disappeared from Nerina Street.
"Unfortunately, even though we have searched the Nerina Street area where they went missing a month ago, we have had no success in finding them," said distraught owner Rosemary Allen.
"Many of the residents in the vicinity of Nerina Street had already gone on holiday when Monty and Fado disappeared. It is our hope that maybe, just maybe, they took shelter on a property that was quiet and would perhaps now emerge when there is activity at the property again."
She appealed to the residents of Riversdale to contact her if they have had any sightings of Monty and Fado or if they have any information that can help her in locating her beloved cats. "Fado, the smaller of the two, has grey and black markings with a diamond pattern on her head and neck. Monty is also grey and black but has longer lines down his head and neck. He has very large, arresting eyes and an almost oval chin.
"Please help us in getting our beloved cats back home where they belong."
Should anyone see them or know of their whereabouts they can contact Rosemary at 028 722 1055 or 083 6934885, Ian at 028 492 0002 or 079 7811439, Paulina at Riversdal Dierekliniek at 028 713 1123 or Natasha Venter at 073 537 5419.
Monty has black and grey stripes.
