HESSEQUA NEWS - Lifesavers from the region took part in the Western Cape Lifesaving championships, which took place on Saturday 2 February as part of the Mossel Bay Dias & Port Festival.
Hessequa was awarded the overall eighth place from 13 clubs which took part.
In the 100m relay on land they came in second. During the run-swim-run they performed well, but did not cross the finish line under the top three.
Caville Abrahams, which lead the group said: “The other clubs had way more participants than we did. I am very proud of our team.”
