HEIDELBERG NUUS - Heidelberg will experience a planned power outage on Saturday.
According to Eskom, the Vryheid 132kV breaker at the Bacchus Substation must be replaced. A breaker at the Heidelberg substation also needs to be replaced.
The Bacchus-Vryheid 132kV overhead is the main line coming from Worcester and is critical to the Eskom network and therefor needs to be repaired as soon as possible.
Power is expected to be out from 08:00 to 18:00 on Saturday 23 November. During this time the towns of Heidelberg, Riviersonderend, Elim, Bredasdorp and Vryheid and surrouding areas will be affected.
Eskom wishes to apologise for any inconvenience to its customers and will endeavour to restore the supply as soon as possible on the given date.
