ALBERTINIA NUUS - Albertinia Chess Club kicked their first official tournament off on Saturday, 10 September at Oker Primary School.
It was the first tournament hosted by the club since 2008 when the Albertinia Open was held.
The favourite in the open section was Gideon Louw. He attained 6 out of 6 points to claim first place.
