The Swartberg Pass is open again. Drive cautiously please.

Update

GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Swartberg Pass is open for traffic.  

Water is still flowing over structures, however bakkies and high vehicles would be able to drive through.

Meiringspoort is still closed until further notice.

Motorists are urged to drive safely on the road to the Cango Caves and be mindful of the rockfalls at De Kombuys turn and also on the road to Cango Mountain Resort.
