Hamlet is one of Shakespeare’s best-known tragedies and the source of many widely-used constructs (such as In the mind’s eye, Method in madness and Be true to yourself), iconic monologues and siliques.
Mosiuoa (the abandoned one) celebrates the universality within Shakespeare’s Hamlet and explores many of its core themes; namely revenge, corruption, madness and the impact of losing a father.
Mosiuoa is designed and directed by Drama lecturer Karina Lemmer. It includes film elements by Film lecturers Mamokeuna Makhema and Karin Schonken and features an original score by composer, Franco Prinsloo.
