STILBAAI NEWS - The 17-year-old twins, Gregory Ann and Thomas Cowley from Birmingham in England, have been visiting their grandparents in South Africa for the past 16 years.
Pierre and Gregory Minnaar farmed for many years and after retiring, settled in Stilbaai.
Both twins have a passion for children, and after visiting Ouma Lena's House in Melkhoutfontein during a previous trip, they decided to reach out to the children there during their current visit.
They have therefore spent the past few days with the children. Gregory Ann hopes to study medicine after school and specialise in child health, while Thomas wants to become an architect to design spaces for children in need.
They had a wonderful time and cannot stop talking about the love and spontaneity they experienced among the children. The constant laughter and conversation are worlds apart from the environment in which they grew up in England.
The two even performed a small dance with children from Ouma Lena's House at the opening of the local Usave store, which touched many hearts.
