Olympic gold medalists Le Clos and Van der Burgh will be striving for fast times when they kick off the competition in the 50m butterfly and the 100m breaststroke respectively, while Brown will be in action in the 400m freestyle.
Meanwhile, the women’s Water Polo team competed in the Championships today (Saturday) and lost 11 – 3 to New Zealand. South Africa scored through Kieren Paley (one), Kimberley Kay (one) and Captain Kelsey White (one).
Jasmine Myles (three), Kirsten Hudson (two), Danielle Lewis (two), Liana Dance (one), Emma Stoneman (one), Miranda Chase (one) and Nicole Lewis (one) scored for New Zealand. The SA ladies’ next match will be for 15th position against Japan on Monday (3rd August 2015).
