GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The results for the individual triathle at the UIPM Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run World Championships are in.
Garden Route athletes won three gold medals and one bronze during the triathle finals which took place on Thursday 11 December.
The top podium spots went to Mia Botha (junior women) from Great Brak River, Liesel Wessels (masters 50+ women) from Oudtshoorn and Johan Windt (masters 70+ men) from Mossel Bay. Gavin Gericke from George earned himself bronze in the masters 60+ men.
Today, Saturday, 13 December is the last day of the championships with athletes still battling it out for top spots in the laser run finals.
