She was very capable in all her interests and careers. She was a trained nurse and went on to be so successful that she worked for many years with the Barnard Heart team in Cape Town as a senior surgical sister. While living in Johannesburg se became a top medical rep whilst joining with Brian in being the leading light of the East Rand Yacht Club.
For he it was nothing to cater for 300 members at their annual functions. This ability made her home in Stilbaai a culinary Mecca where endless family and friends came regularly to stay and rave about the hospitality and how they felt instantly at home in her company.
Her love for her children and grandchildren could clearly be seen in the way she always spoke about them with so much pride.
She was loved and adored by most who encountered her spontaneous and open personality. The community will sadly mourn her loss.
