HESSEQUA NEWS - The ANC commends its branches who took to the streets in their communities cleaning the wards, looking for the less fortunate, senior citizens, clinics and SASSA points, to lend a hand, from Albertinia, to Heidelberg in the Hessequa Sub-region.

"ANC members made a difference in peoples lives on Wednesday 18 July, Mandela Day. Our branches cleaned their respective wards and fed the less fortunate and those who make home on the streets; our branches prepared breakfast for the senior citizens and creches got gift packs. Indeed, members made Mandela proud on his birthday," said Claudio Conradie, media spokesperson; ANC Hessequa Sub-Region.

He adds that Madiba's values have always been clear. "Sacrifice, servant hood, sharing and caring and as the leaders of the ANC, we are happy that these values are being carried on by this new generation of ANC members.

Mandela values are ANC values and we will carry them forward and pass them on."
