Nuwe skaakklub geopen in Heidelberg
Daar is 'n welkome oplewing in skaak in Hessequa nadat Gretha Conradie, 'n plaaslike opvoeder by Hoërskool Heidelberg en 'n Hessequa-ontwikkelingsbeampte, ingegryp en 'n skaakklub gestig het. Met dié nuwe klub wil sy nie net skaak in die streek bevorder nie, maar leerders van alle ouderdomme daaraan blootstel. Sy hoop 'n gesonde skaakgees steek by veral die jonger geslag aan, maar alle jongmense is welkom.
