Piet Lotz se reusepampoen van 532,4 kg het gewen
Piet Lotz, 'n boer van Riversdal se reusepampoen het die skaal op 532,4 kg laat kreun tydens die agtste jaarlikse Groot Pampoenfees wat Vrydag 23 en Saterdag 24 Maart op die skouterrein aangebied is. Dié knewel is slegs 24 kg ligter as die pampoen wat die huidige Suid-Afrikaanse rekord hou. Dié rekord behoort aan Hugo le Roux wat dit verlede jaar opgestel het met 'n monsterpampoen van 556 kg.
