Van Riversdal tot Newcastle op 'n fiets
Vir Danie Benson (63) en sy vrou Louisa Benson (62) van Riversdal, het 1 September 'n groot uitdaging ingehou jaar toe Danie besluit het om 1 400 km na Newcastle op sy 1985 fiets aan te durf. Volgens Danie het hy nie regtig geoefen vir die lang rit nie. Die enigste doel in daardie stadium was om die 1ste September op sy fiets te klim en te ry. Hy glo deur vir jouself 'n doelwit te stel, kan jy enige iets doen solank jy gefokus bly.
