Riders competed throughout the year in four qualifiers as well as in a regional show. The points were very close and all riders fared extremely well.
Holy Cross Primary School scored a hat trick in The Rider of the Year category. Samantha de Villiers, Carah Callaghan and Gemma Kleu were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places respectively.
Oakhill Primary, Montessourri School and Laerskool George-Suid riders also did their schools proud.
The following Primary School riders topped their classes: Samantha de Villiers (Holy Cross) - dressage, jumping, working hunter; Bianca Mincione (Oakhill) - performance riding; Carah Callaghan (Holy Cross) - working riding; Gemma Kleu (Holy Cross) - equitation. Gemma Kleu and her horse, Waverly, received a first place in the showing class, followed by Carah Callaghan on Waikiki in second place and Hanna Butler on Kilshane Galbally in third place.
Hoërskool Outeniqua topped the high school leader board with Hoërskool Albertinia, Hoërskool Oudtshoorn, York High School, Knysna High and PW Botha College hot on their heels.
The High School Rider of the year prize was awarded to Rene Uys, Candice Ludick in 2nd place (both riders of Hoërskool Outeniqua) and Willie Oosthuizen of Hoërskool Albertinia in 3rd place.
The following High School riders and horses topped their classes: Jemma-Lee Bryant and Shadow (York High School) - dressage; Candice Ludick and Burnside Magical Ballad (Hoërskool Outeniqua) - performance riding; Rene Uys and Fynbos Emigrant (Hoërskool Outeniqua) - working riding; Xisca Taylor and Coffee Bear (Knysna High) - equitation; Anthony Kennekamp and Burnside Pride (PW Botha College) - jumping; Robyn Dodd and Dona (Knysna High) - working hunter.
The top showing rider was Rene Uys on Fynbos Emigrant followed by Candice Ludick on Burnside Magical Ballad, and Leriska Naude on Nesso Dorma, all of Hoërskool Outeniqua.

These primary school riders who received trophies are Carah Callaghan, Samantha de Villiers, Caroline de Villiers and Gemma Klue.
