FOOTBALL NEWS - SuperSport United caretaker coach Kaitano Tembo was delighted that his charges managed to keep Orlando Pirates at bay in their Premiership clash on Wednesday.
Matsatsantsa are in the thick of the relegation scrap and sit only one point clear of the bottom two after playing out a goalless draw with the Buccaneers. They still have not won a league game in their last six fixtures.
“I’ve got to give credit to the boys. It wasn’t an easy game. This is a very good Pirates team. In the first half, I think we tried to be a bit more adventurous. I think we created better opportunities when we pressed them a bit high," Tembo told SuperSport TV.
