SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The SWD Cricket Board league fixtures will continue this weekend and all eyes will be on the match that will be played the Bridgton Sports Ground in Oudtshoorn on Saturday where the defending champions, Union Stars will take on Mossel Bay.

George will be the favorites when they take on Pacaltsdorp at Rooirivierrift whilst Sussex will be keen to improve on disappointing performance of the past weekend when they log horns with Harlequins Forces at D'Almeida.

The winner of the match between Pirates and Ramblers will certainly be a step away from potential relegation.

In the CSA Women's Competition SWD will host Border (on Saturday) and Eastern Province (on Sunday). The SWD ladies will be keen to improve on their recent disappointing performances when they lost badly against Western Province and Boland respectively. Both matches will be played at the REC Ground in Oudtshoorn.

• Reserve League: Ramblers B versus Pirates B, Thembalethu B versus George B, Union Stars B versus Mossel Bay B.

Sunday:

• CSA Women's League: SWD versus Eastern Province (REC Ground, Oudtshoorn).
• Promotion League: Western Hope versus Bongolethu.
