NATIONAL NEWS - A 36-year-old man was left critically injured Sunday night following the fire at Signal Hill, Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the Fire Services battling the raging blaze. The paramedics were informed that fire fighters were bringing a critically injured patient to them.
ER24 and Fire Service paramedics set up a staging area while waiting for the patient.
On arrival, paramedics found that the man had sustained numerous burn wounds and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to New Somerset Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further care.
