Kloof man arrested for child porn

NATIONAL NEWS - An ex-Kloof resident was arrested in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday for possession of child pornography. This came after an intensive investigation by the Pinetown Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit (FCS).

KwaZulu-Natal SAPS spokesman, Col Jay Naicker, said investigation led police to arrest the 39-year-old man in Pietermaritzburg, where he had relocated.

“In August last year, police obtained a search warrant to search the man’s house in Old Main Road, Kloof.

“He was found in possession of a memory stick with child pornography, containing images of children as young as 3 years old. ”
