NATIONAL NEWS - Sixteen learners were among those injured in a crash involving a school bus in the Wonderboom area on Friday afternoon.
The accident saw the bus collide with a car, according to Best Care Ambulance Services spokesperson Albert Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen.
“It happened just before 15:00 on the corner of Braam Pretorius Street and Lavender Road,” Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen said.
“The children sustained light to moderate injuries and were transported to various hospitals by emergency services.”
“Another person from the other car also sustained an injury.”
The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage and will form part of the investigation.
