MOTORING NEWS AND VIDEO - Peugeot Citroën George launched the new Peugeot 108 and Peugeot 5008 at an elegant evening event on Thursday 19 September. The vehicles launched nationally during the past week embody the renaissance of Peugeot countrywide.
Hilton Cook, dealer principal of Peugeot Citroën George, was proud as can be with the arrival of the top-quality competitively priced vehicles, which he believes will cause a stir in the South African market.

About 30 Peugeot owners and members of the media were invited to attend the George launch. According to Cook, the arrival of the two vehicles completes their Peugeot range, enabling them to offer a complete stable, from entry level up to more luxury seven-seater models.
After welcoming the guests and giving a quick introduction of all the features and luxuries of the vehicles, Cook and his team unveiled the covered vehicles to the accompaniment of music and lights, drawing appreciative applause from the guests.

The 5008 and the smaller 108 were standing proudly on the showroom floor, waiting for their new owners. Their quality was evident at first glance.

The Peugeot 5008 is a comprehensively specced SUV with ground clearance of 235mm, 780 litres of boot space, collision warning, lane departure warning and much more. According to Cook this incredible vehicle can be bought at a fraction of the cost of other vehicles in the same class.
Guests were very interested in the specifications of the newly launched vehicles.
Cook said the 108 is the little chick of the range, offering a 1,0-litre, three-cylinder engine with full LED lights, six airbags and premium quality safety features, all coming at a price of only R179 900. Added to this extremely competitive price, Peugeot also gives a 5-year / 100 00km warranty and service plan - an incredible value proposition.
