GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In the latest weather update from the South African Weather Service, there are three weather alerts, one for today, Tuesday; the other two for Wednesday and Thursday.
Severe weather alerts
Extremely uncomfortable conditions are expected over the northern parts of the West Coast District (W. Cape) on Tuesday, 19 November.
A cut-off low leading to changes in weather conditions is expected over the southern parts of the Western Cape from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning where thunderstorms with heavy downpours, hail and strong winds are likely, especially over the Overberg region, southern Cape Winelands and south-western Garden Route.
Yellow level 3 warning for severe thunderstorms resulting in heavy downpours, large amounts of small hail, excessive lightning are expected over the Witzenberg, Breede Valley, Langeberg municipalities and Overberg district tomorrow spreading along the south coast on Thursday.
