WITSAND NEWS - The Witsand/Port Beaufort Bowls Club recently saw 12 teams take part in a Christmas in July themed event which benefitted the bowls club and Vondeling Primary.
This growing charitable event, hosted by The Anchorage Beach Restaurant & Bar, has been presented annually for the past three years.
Restaurant owner and organiser of the event, Tekkies Kotzé, thanked all who contributed on the day.
"All proceeds will go towards the bowls club, and collected stationery items will be delivered to Vondeling Primary."
The best dressed team went all out with Christmas hats, spectacles and colourful lights.
