GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Stage 6 load-shedding will continue to be implemented until 05:00 on Saturday. Thereafter, Stage 3 load-shedding will be implemented from 05:00 until 16:00 and Stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 on Saturday. This cycle will be repeated on Sunday until 05:00 on Monday morning.
Eskom will publish a further update as soon as significant changes occur.
Eskom has urged South Africans to use electricity sparingly during this period. “We thank those South Africans who do heed the call to use electricity sparingly and efficiently in helping to alleviate the pressure on the power system, as this is assisting in avoiding higher stages of load-shedding,” the power utility said.
