RIVERSDALE NUUS - Ou Meule Old Age Home received a total of 72 blankets from the St Peter Blanket Project of Mossel Bay on Wednesday 25 April.
This project was started by Cynthia Vincent 30 years ago, who handed it over to Kathleen Frost and her mother, Beatriz Jonsen. Since then they have been making and distributing blankets to the needy and aged people.
''It took one day to put a blanket together, and three days to finish the blanket,'' said Frost.
Kathleen Frost sponsored this beautiful quilt for a lucky draw at DROOM's bazaar on 22 June.
