HESSEQUA NEWS - The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has a zero tolerance towards bullying in schools.
“We view it very seriously and take constructive steps to address it in schools,” says Jessica Shelver, spokesperson for the department.
Bullying behaviour is typically when a child or group of children misuse their power to hurt other children or exclude them.
Cyber bullying is on the increase and is even more dangerous to vulnerable children and teens.
