HESSEQUA NEWS - The Run Your City (RYC) Series' latest Strava Challenge is encouraging runners to put their love for running to good use by "Running for a cause" on Saturday, 14 August, between 05:00 and 22:00.
"Charity support has been an important focus of the RYC Series," says Michael Meyer, founder of the series.
"Being in the midst of a pandemic, charities are feeling the pinch more than ever. We are excited to encourage the RYC Series Community to show its support by taking on the challenge. Runners can choose their own distance, location and route."
Once runners have joined the "Run for a cause" Challenge on Strava, they can either dedicate their run to one of the RYC Series Charities, or go one step further by starting their own fundraising page and support a cause close to their hearts.
Runners are reminded to capture and share their activities, routes, photos and dedicated cause to the RYC Series Club Page on Strava. Don't forget to include #RunYourCity #RunForACause #RunPuma. An awesome pair of Puma Deviate Nitro Spectra running shoes to the value of R4 000 is up for grabs.
