GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Oakhurst Insurance EdenXperience would like to take this opportunity to thank the Eden community for their help in another successful premier outdoor sports event.
It was a spectacular weekend of great family fun. Friday saw the start of great aquatic skill in the second Xtreme Waterpolo tournament at the Glenwood House School aquatics centre.
The George Herald Run with the Stars was an exceptional display of athleticism while the Space Race fun run showed great levels of enthusiasm and good spirit.
The Sportsman's Warehouse trail run showed off particularly spectacular views in the midst of the heated competition.
The family festival also celebrated the spirit of good sportsmanship with over 600 hockey players participating at the Glenwood House sports fields in an action-packed weekend.
Chairman of the Glenwood House School Parents Association, Lacy Mentz, commented, "A special thanks is owed to our sponsors, Oakhurst Insurance and George Herald, as well as the community and all the participants. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your unwavering support of the Oakhurst Eden Xperience 2018, helping to make this our biggest event to date."
