HESSEQUA NEWS - Stage 1 water restrictions will be implemented from 1 September and will be regulated in terms of the Water and Sanitation Bylaw.
"Due to the increasing effect of the drought on our stored water/dam levels, it is necessary to implement the restrictions across all the towns of Hessequa Municipality," said the municipal manager, Johan Jacobs:
• Gardens may only be watered between 16:00 until 18:00.
• Sprayers may be used, but water hoses may not be used without supervision.
• Hosing down of paving and cement surfaces are not permitted.
• Washing of vehicles/boats/caravans will be allowed by means of a bucket.
