RIVERSDALE NEWSFLASH - Roxmouth Hector, better known as Rocky and well-known in town, celebrated his 90th birthday on 8 April.
The footballer and mechanic was born in Johannesburg in 1928 and worked for more than 25 firms nationwide.
At the age of 39, he played football for the Natal league with the average age of team members being between 24 and 25.
Most of his friends say that you would never guess he is that old because he is so lively and has a sound mind.
After he retired him and his wife moved to Riversdale.
Rocky said that his success through the years was because he believed that the harder you work, the luckier you are and that nothing comes by itself.
