WESTERN CAPE NEWS - Motor vehicle licence renewal notices for 31 March 2018 were not dispatched.
The matter was investigated by the Department of Transport and Public Works (DTPW) and the cause addressed.
The implication is those vehicle owners whose motor vehicle licences expired on 31 March did not receive notification of the expiry.
These individuals are encouraged to pay their licence renewal fees by no later than 23 April to avoid any penalties.
Notices for licences expiring at the end of April have been dispatched. DTPW encourages all vehicle owners to regularly check when their motor vehicle licences expire in order to avoid late renewal and any related penalties.
