RIVERSDALE NEWS - Resident Stephen Pain has offered a R100 000 reward for a "missing police docket."
Two years ago, the SAPS Riversdal was given information about a conspiracy to defeat the ends of justice together with several cases of criminal perjury.
Although the information covered a number of different crime scenes and accused, the complaints were all put onto one single docket (CAS 22/10/2020) but were never investigated.
The National Prosecuting Authority now wishes to review the docket but it has gone missing. The accused include SAP officers, a former Hessequa municipality manager and a former mayor.
It appears that the docket has gone missing due to foul play, says Pain.
A reward of R100 000 is offered for the information leading to the conviction of those responsible for hiding or destroying the docket.
